“The U11 flaunts touch-sensitive edges, a water resistant design, a Snapdragon 835 SoC and 128GB of storage”

Last week, HTC’s latest flagship, the U11, appeared on the company’s website in India. Today, the company has announced that it will be launching the flagship in the country on June 16th. The HTC U11 was recently launched in Taiwan featuring Edge Sense technology, which allows users to control the phone by squeezing its sides.

For the uninitiated, the HTC U11 (first impressions) features 3D glass on both the front and rear, and IP67 certification for dust and water resistance. The phone offers a 5.5-inch 2K display, a Snapdragon 835 processor, 128GB of storage, a 12MP UltraPixel 3 rear camera, a 16MP front shooter, 4G LTE, a fingerprint sensor, Android Nougat, multiple AI assistants like Sense Companion, Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, and a 3,000mAh battery.

The HTC U11 was unveiled in two RAM configurations – 4GB and 6GB. However, in India, only the 6GB variant of the phone will be launched. We will have the phone’s pricing and availability details soon, so stay tuned.
