Panasonic today expanded its Eluga lineup with yet another budget smartphone. The newest handset is the 4th generation handset in the I series, aptly called Eluga I4.
Notably, the handset maker recently launched a couple of Ray series devices – the Eluga Ray 500 and Eluga Ray 700 in India. While Eluga Ray 500 brings a dual camera module, the Eluga Ray 700 has selfie flash and 5,000mAh battery on offer.Coming to the Eluga I4, the smartphone flaunts a 5.2-inch display on the fascia, which comes with a resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels and 2.5D curved glass on top. Under the hood, it has a 1.25GHz quad-core processor mated to 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. The device gets a brownie point for the fact it has a dedicated microSD card slot apart from the dual SIM tray. The all metal handset gets a fingerprint sensor embedded home button below the display, which can also be used to launch apps apart from unlocking the device. For imaging, there is 8-megapixel snapper on the rear panel with LED flash and 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front. Coming to the software, the Eluga I4 gets Android Nougat with the brand’s proprietary Arbo AI virtual assistant. The rear panel of the handset houses a 3,000mAh battery.
