“The Vernee Apollo 2 will feature up to 8GB of RAM, up to 128GB of storage and a
2K display”
At CES in January, Shenzhen-based smartphone maker Vernee announced that it will launch the first Mediatek Helio X30-powered phone at MWC in Barcelona later this month. Now just a few days ahead of the unveiling, the popular tipster Roland Quandt has revealed the key specifications of the phone, allegedly called the Vernee Apollo 2.
The tipster has posted a photo, which shows the Vernee Apollo 2 with slim bezels on the side. The Helio X30-powered flagship will come in two configurations – 6GB of RAM / 64GB of storage and 8GB of RAM / 128GB storage. Other information from the tipster about the device is that it will feature a Quad HD display.

For the uninitiated, the MediaTek Helio X30 is a deca-core SoC, built using the 10nm manufacturing process. The SoC has an IMG 7XTP-Mt4 GPU clocked at 820MHz. There’s no word on the other specs of the Vernee Apollo 2 at the moment. We will find out all the official details later this month at MWC, so stay tuned
